I grew up in Oskaloosa, IA, the small town I still escape to on breaks from school when all I need is my comfortable coffee shop and a hug from my siblings.



Since arriving at Northwestern in the fall of 2011, I have become particularly interested in the mediums of printmaking and graphic design. I have received a few scholarships for my work in the fields of printmaking, drawing, and sculpture. I spend my days pondering how to produce creative work that reaches across medium boundaries and does more than hang on the walls of rich people.



I'm also interested in sweet & salty granola bars, flannel sheets, gender equality, vegetables, weddings, travelling the world, books, crafts, and cheesy musicals.
